Day31 - Auckland
Drove back from Taupo stopped in Rotorua to smell the sulphur but it smelt more like a musty smell then an eggy smell.
We picked up some people and headed off to Auckland.
Stopped in Matamata for lunch and Lauren the new driver put on a film for us which was a really good idea.
Got into Auckland stopped at teh kiwi office and brought myself a kiwi experience tshirt.
Stayed in Auckland for 4 nights, was nice to stay put and catch up on sleep, however the dorm i was in backed onto the toilets which was good, what wasnt good was the fact that they have hand driers that back onto the dorm and everytime they were used you could hear them, was not good at 7am.
I have loved NZ, it has to be my favourite country so far, it's definitely a place I would love to come back to or even move to.
The people are so friendly here and the country itself is beautiful, no wonder lord of the rings was filmed here.
The kiwi experience was just brilliant and would recommend anyone that comes here to go on it, the drivers are so friendly and have so much knowledge of the country.
Right now I am sad to be leaving but one day I will be back and maybe persuade some you back home to come out, you will never want to leave.
My last leg of my Journey, so here I am 11 and half months of travelling and I am about to set off to south America.
Cannot believe I kept to my plan, well I did miss a few countries out don't think I could afford to do all, but I can come back, or if anyone wants to fund me, I can give you my account details..:D
I am so glad that I have done this, I would never change this in a million years, I never thought I could just get up and just travel on my own, but guess what I have and its the best feeling in the world. Not worrying about anyone but yourself, took me a while but I got there and am doing it.
I have met so many new friends that I am hoping to stay in contact when I get home.
But now this is the last leg of my journey if I had more money I would carry on travelling.
So let's see what South America has to offer…:D
well before i could leave i had a 5 hour delay at Auckland which was fine as i had to wait 5 hours in Chile to catch my connection however now this meant i missed my connections to Buenos Aires........
...you have to wait till i write some more to find out what happens....hahaha
